Using tripps.io

You can use tripps.io as a guest, with your tripps kept only in that browser. Guest accounts with no tripps are deleted after 30 days unused. Sign in to keep your tripps on any device.

You’re responsible for what you add and who you share it with. Only invite people by email who’d expect to hear from you about the tripp. Don’t use tripps.io to break the law, harm others, send unwanted email, or overload or attack the service. Fair-use limits apply to how much one account can add.

Your content

Your tripps stay yours: we use them only to run tripps.io for you and the people you share them with. Anyone with a share link can see the tripp, and anyone with an edit link can also change it and its links. People you invite by email get the access you choose. Apps that show link previews (such as messaging apps) see a tripp’s name and dates. You can change or delete links, and remove people you invited, at any time.

Smart import and place search

Smart import uses AI to read bookings from images and PDFs you upload and from emails you forward to your tripp’s address, and adds them to the tripp marked as imported. The files and emails are deleted once the bookings are read. Smart import and place search (from Google) can get things wrong: check the details, and confirm times with your airline, rail company or accommodation.

Only forward emails you’re allowed to share, and keep your tripp’s address to yourself: anyone who has it can add bookings to your tripp.

Smart import is limited to 20 a day with an account and 1 a day as a guest, uploads and emails together. We may change the limits, and smart import may pause for the day when our AI capacity runs out.

Partner links

Links marked Ad lead to partners such as GetYourGuide, and we may earn a commission if you book. Your booking is with the partner, on its terms and at its prices: we don’t sell travel, and aren’t responsible for partners’ offers.

Availability and changes

We can’t promise tripps.io will always be available or error-free. We may change or end features, and will give reasonable notice before closing the service. We may update these terms; the date at the top shows when.

Liability

We are fully liable for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and under product liability law. For slight negligence we are only liable for breaches of essential obligations, and only up to the damage typical and foreseeable for this kind of service.

Ending

You can stop using tripps.io at any time. To delete your account and data, write to support@tripps.io. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.

Law

German law applies, but if you’re a consumer elsewhere you keep your country’s mandatory consumer protections. We don’t take part in consumer arbitration; please write to us with any complaint.
